STEVE BARDWIL: ACOUSTIC GUITAR & VOCALS

Steve Bardwil is a musician, a singer, a songwriter and child of Rock & Roll. In his soul he knows that music is humanity’s last hope for unification. Born in the USA, a tapestry of influences and inspirations, R&R is the one language we all speak — because music doesn’t belong to one demographic, one gender, one ethnicity.

Steve formed the Steve Bardwil Band as a celebration of music, of love, of friendship. His band is made up of stellar musicians, from different generations and backgrounds. They are a diverse musical family who live to rock.

His mantra, “We’re the Steve Bardwil Band and we don’t play sad songs” doesn’t mean he’s not writing about things that matter. Love. Compassion. Outer Space. Time. A Galaxy filled with stars. Humanity. Nature. Lessons learned from a life lived. All of these things fuel his lyrics and when they’re musically brought to life by his 6-piece band, they bring audiences onto their feet while making them smile and making them feel.

Steve began playing and writing songs at the age of 14. He and his band are musical brothers from different generations and musical backgrounds. Like the best musical collaborations, these diverse forces meld into an inimitable sound that gets your heart jumping & rocks your soul.

Steve took the needed time and care in finding the perfect musicians for his eponymous band. Their new music is a massive shot forward for the band, recorded at East West Studios under the sonic simpatico of 10-time Grammy winning legend, producer Joe Chiccarelli. Having worked with such artists as Elton John, U2, Beck, Alanis Morissette, The Killers, Etta James, The Strokes, Frank Zappa, The White Stripes, Glenn Frey and Jason Mraz, Chiccarelli captured the onstage alchemy of the Steve Bardwil Band and cranked the energy to 11.

Steve and the Bardwil Band have shared the stage with such artists as Lyle Lovett, Dickey Betts of the Allman Brothers, Robby Krieger of the Doors, Donavon Frankenreiter, Jim Messina, Robert Cray, Poco, Eddie Money, Pablo Cruise and Robert Randolph…just to name a few.
Steve sees the band as a pure collaboration, without ego. Everyone’s contributions are welcome.

Journeymen musicians defining American Rock for a new generation…always with a smile.
Because life is too serious to play sad songs.
